Yankee Springs Recreation Area
Yankee Spring's unique beauty and landscape lend the park's 5,200 acres to many forms of recreation, such as camping, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing, cross-country skiing, swimming and much more. The planned park enhancement project at Yankee Spring's Gun Lake modern campground has been delayed to fall 2023. Please note that semi-modern camping will be available April 1-May 14; however, it's first come, first served at the park. (updated 1/18/23)
