William G.Milliken State Park and Harbor
William G. Milliken State Park and Harbor is located on the Detroit River in the heart of Detroit, along a portion of the City's Detroit Riverwalk. The park is home to a harbor, a picnic area, wetland, paved trails (biking, walking, rollerblading) and much more. The park is conveniently located just east of downtown near the Outdoor Adventure Center, Belle Isle Park and many other major downtown Detroit attractions, including many food and drink establishments. It was Michigan's first urban state park.
