Tawas Point Lighthouse

Due to the planned exterior and interior restoration work at the Tawas Point Lighthouse, public tours will be suspended in 2023. For information on the Michigan History Center’s lightkeeper program or lighthouse tours, contact DNR-TawasKeepers@Michigan.gov. Please contact the park for updates on the restoration project timeline at 989-362-5041. Tours and the keepers program are expected to return in 2024. (updated 2/12/23)
