North Higgins Lake State Park
North Higgins Lake located on what was once the world's largest seedling nursery, provides the variety of tree, plant, bird and animal species that make the park attractive for outdoor activities. Open all year for camping. Due to a planned park enhancement project to complete a new toilet/shower building, North Higgins Lake State Park's East Campground will temporarily close for a portion of spring/summer 2023. The West Campground will remain open during construction. (updated 11/29/22)
