McLain State Park

McLain State Park offers two miles of sand beach on Lake Superior. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of activities in the park: fishing, windsurfing, berry picking, beachcombing, sight-seeing and hunting. Due to a park enhancement project to replace existing water, sewer and electrical system, McLain State Park's modern campground will be closed through at least May 2023. (updated 11/15/22)
